Yellow Creek Port (YCP), one of two state-owned ports, is the oldest port on the TN-Tom Waterway.

YCP is conveniently located at the intersection of the Tennessee River and the TN-Tom Waterway with direct connections to the Port of Mobile and the Ohio-Mississippi-Missouri River network.

As a full service, multi-modal facility, YCP offers barge, truck, and rail transfer facilities.

The port terminal handles a wide range of commodities such as: steel coils, steel plate, large fabricated steel items, steel pipe, coal, and silicon. With water, rail, and highway connections, the YCP is the most significant steel coil handling facility in the Mid-South. Additionally, YCP has six acres of outdoor storage and a 21 car capacity rail yard.
